EXPERIENCED Automotive Technician

Join our team as a fulltime EXPERIENCED Automotive Technician at Dale's Auto Service in Chardon, OH 44024.
You must have your own tools, a valid driver's license and be able to work on all makes and models. You must be able to fully diagnose and repair all issues with the vehicle (runnability, mechanical, electrical) as well as be familiar with online diagnostic tools such as Alldata. Job Expectations:
Experience mechanical knowledge
Must be proficient in brakes, suspension, and driveline
Job Responsibilities:
Perform assigned work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, as specified in factory standards.
Diagnose the cause of all malfunctions, prepare a written list of all repairs required, and perform repairs as requested by the Service Writer.
Perform a Courtesy Inspection on every vehicle and complete the checklist, giving an overall picture of the condition of the vehicle.
Road testing the vehicle prior to and after repairs to verify that the problem has been properly diagnosed and repaired.
Refer to online repair specifications to assure a proper repair. Be aware of TSB’s and manufacturer recommendations.
Perform your tasks in a professional manner, keeping the work area neat and clean.
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
You will not have to quote out jobs or call customers.
